This Program Highlight features our own Health Educator - Linda Kibler. Education is a vital component of every treatment plan our patients receive. Linda began work with the center in the Fall of 2006. In a very short amount of time, she has enhanced the education program, touched the lives of more than 1,000 patients and community members, increased curriculum and begun a mentoring program for rising medical professionals. Thanks to funds from the Jenkins Foundation and The Community Foundation, this program was revitalized in 2006. Today it is staple in the ongoing fight against premature death and disability as the result of strokes, heart attacks and kidney disease.
